can a urinary tract infection be transmitted sexually?

can a urinary tract infection be transmitted sexually?i mean, can the causative bacteria of a UTI be transferred while having sex?

a doctors answer would be most welcome.

There are very, very few doctors who have time to be on a forum such as this. A urinary tract infection is an infection inside the bladder and cannot be spread during sex.

They are not like an std but they can be created during sex. All it takes to have a UTI is for some bacteria to go into your urethra (where you pee from) and bacteria is being passed all over the place when you have sex.
Not a doctor but have had UTIs before. They can be easily treated with antibiotics from your doctor.
