what are you talking about with these edits? prayer IS allowed in public schools. you can pray to your heart's content! but SCHOOL SPONSORED prayer is unconstitutional. You would not have a problem with muslim prayers being led by a teacher in your child's school?

Any evidence the two are related? Crime went up since 1962, that proves nothing.
By the way, alcohol consumption going up is not a problem, instances of alcohol related medical problems would be.
