herpes????My fiance won't stop obsessing over some bumbs on his penis. He has been to the doc numerous times, had blood tests etc. they tell him he is fine. Well now he has little white head looking things in the crease of his leg like in his groin and once again is obsessing over it. He is going to the doc today, but I wanted to know if anyone knows if its possible for the doc to miss herpes with a blood test? is that how they test for it? because I mean wouldn't the doctor have known before if that was what it was? He says it can stay dormant for years and hes worried he has had herpes for like 4years and not known it. I keep telling him he is fine, but should i be worried?

I would just go to the doctor and have him specifically test you for that, i would think it would show up ina blood test but I would check again to make sure.

when I went to the doc. they did a test specifically for herpes.

herpes==painful, fluid filled sores on or near the genitalia.
the sores may have a watery discharge
itching ,burning,tingling in the gentile area
fever
