Go to the doctor. Even if you do have a yeast infection, if you've had unprotected sex, you could have an STD and not know it. The fact that you are concerned that you might have one, means that you should get tested.
That being said, they do make over the counter yeast infections screening kits now. I think they are made by Vagisil.
Even if you do have a yeast infection, I strongly urge you to get tested as 75% of women have no symptoms.

Sorry to say that most of the time you can't without a test. They have so many symptoms in common that trying to tell them apart can be almost impossible. But if you are having painful pee, chunky looking discharge, weird smells, and pain when you wipe it's probably a yeast infection. Better to get it treated now, if could cause other infection.
BTW: Most STD's don't have any symptoms, like chlamydia.

Most symptoms or lack of them are common not only for yeast infection , but also for STD. Only a test on microscope made by the doctor could tell the difference. If you have a STD, but you treat it as a yeast infection, than you will make worse your infection. A yeast infection should be treat it easilly with yogourt, honey or tee tree oil. However, for a systemic yeast infection, you should change your lifestyle and eating habitts.
