how do you know if you have aids ?or herpies or any other sex transmitted disease?my friend cesar has some nasty pemple yellow mucus thing grosing out of his nose should he be worried ??

To test for most stds you go to the doctor and take a test. Your friend should go and get checked out, please advise him to use protection.

pretty sure that wouldnt be a result of an STD or aids. its probably an infection or a cyst.
just tell them to go to the doctor!

Some times you don't know, symptoms of those diseases can be misleading.
If the pimple has some itching, burning and or tingling symptoms then it could be just oral herpes. Oral herpes is the virus that causes cold sores, it's not considered to be an std, you can get cold sores on your mouth with out ever having oral sex or intercourse. But it is contagious while they are visible so your friend shouldn't kiss or give oral sex while he has this yellow pimple.
Your friend should see a doctor and get tested, that is the only way to find out for sure if he has any stds, herpes or hiv.
