I had sex with my boyfriend (who infected me) on the last day of my antibiotics, would the antibiotics still in my system have been enough to have prevented re-infection? We have remained abstinent since then and the plan is that he is going to get tested and treated asap. In the meantime, would condoms prevent my reinfection? And can it be transmitted through oral sex? I got a urinalysis a few days ago, which came back normal, but I still am concerned that I have been re-infected due to continued nausea and lower back pain. My doctor thinks the cause is something else, but I am suspicious of her diagnosis and think maybe I should get a second opinion.

OK hunny i think you should tell ur boyfriend to get cleaned up and not have sex with him till then then you should go back to the doc and get retested oh and if ur not using condoms or other necessary things u should get a preg test too just to be safe
