This isn't meant to offend, but many on here are always requesting facts. Just something to consider, which may or may not have some validity.
McWhirter and Mattison: studied 156 gay male relationships (duration 1 to 37 years). EVERY one extending 5+ years sought outside sexual activity.
Gay marriage has been legal in the Netherlands long enough to gather data on it. A 2003 study found the average duration of "steady" male partnerships to range from .75 to 2.25 years. These "steady" relationships had an average of 8 casual partners in addition to the significant other each year.
Journal of Interpersonal Violence: 31 percent of lesbians in relationships had experienced physical violence from a partner within the past year.
Journal Violence and Victims: Gay men are more likely to be killed by their partners than by a stranger.
The best available evidence indicates that gay people have a 20-30% shorter life expectancy (excluding AIDS).
25%-33% of gay people are alcoholics compared to 7% in the general population.
Statistics that indicate that homosexuals are 16 times more likely than heterosexuals to molest a child and 15 times more likely to murder.
Empirical research shows that children of a homosexual couple have more social difficulties, emotional turmoil, gender role disruption, etc.
You act victimized in order to gain sympathy. The LGBT uses a psychological attack in the form of propaganda fed to the nation via the media. They attempt to marginalize anyone who opposes the LGBT. But the facts are that the gay lifestyle itself creates its own victims.
With regards to LGBT being compared to african american oppression:
It can't be compared - gays have never been bought and sold like cattle, stolen from their homelands and had their children taken away and sold.
as a matter of fact if the activists claims on gay population are correct then 10% of our oppressors were homosexuals.
In a 1991 paper by James Holsinger Jr, a physician nominated for the post of Surgeon General, explained that the structure and function of the male and female reproductive systems are fully complementary. But the rectum is incapable of mechanical protection against severe damage. Not only is the rectum not lubricated, but the anal sphincters are designed for only the outward passage of objects.
Holsinger stated, "From the perspective of pathology and pathophysiology, the varied sexual practices of homosexual men have resulted in a diverse and expanded concept of sexually transmitted disease and associated trauma." Among items in a long list of problems listed by Holsinger are these: enteric diseases (infections from a variety of viruses and bacteria including a very high incidence of amoebiasis, giardiasis, and hepatitis, etc.), trauma (fecal incontinence, anal fissure, rectosigmoid tears, chemical sinusitis, etc.), sexually trasmitted diseases (AIDS, gonorrhea, simplex infections, genital warts, scabies, etc.).
Each of the great civilizations in the world passed through a series of stages from their birth to their decline to their death. Historians have listed these in ten stages.
The first stage moves from bondage to spiritual faith. The second from spiritual faith to great courage. The third stage moves from great courage to liberty. The fourth stage moves from liberty to abundance. The fifth stage moves from abundance to selfishness. The sixth stage moves from selfishness to complacency. The seventh stage moves from complacency to apathy. The eighth stage moves from apathy to moral decay. The ninth stage moves from moral decay to dependence. And the tenth and last stage moves from dependence to bondage.
These are the ten stages through which the great civilizations have gone. Notice the progression from bondage to liberty back to bondage. The first generation throws off the shackles of bondage only to have a later generation through apathy and indifference allow itself to once again be enslaved.

So, none of my facts are "verifiable," and yet not one of you who say that can back it up? What makes your claim any different than a hateful opinion - especially to the guy who said I should keep my tongue? I listed my references and yet you could provide not a single piece of evidence to back up your claims? People like you disgust me and are perfect example of a depraved mind!
By the way, did you happen to catch the verses that make it clear that homosexuality is wrong? Of course not...!
It is because of people like you, with your anger, hatred, stubborness, and intolerance of Christians and their faith, that we need these FACTS!

OK so you have questionable facts. I have found over the years that facts can be spun in any direction.
but mainly I don't see how this relates to religion or Christians.
