I was just wondering whether you could still get sexually transmitted diseases such as pelvic inflammatory disease when you only have sex with the one partner. Iv never had sex with anyone else other than my partner and we dont use protection, but we make sure that he ejaculates away from the vagina. So is this possible, and also is there a risk involved in doing so?

Just because you may not have STDs doesn't mean he doesn't have STDs, or someone he's been with before didn't have STDs. As soon as his genitals touch yours, you have been exposed. Doesn't matter where he ejaculates.
Are you using birth control? You can get pregnant even if he pulls out.

mutually monogamous sex between two disease free individuals will never result in STD.
If your partner has an asymptomatic STD, there is risk.
Otherwise Nil.
Bear in mind, pre ejaculatory fluid can contain, disease causing organism and sperm. So ejaculation outside does not guarantee prevention of unintended pregnancy and STD.
But the risk is reduced by this practice.

It's possible but BV is not technically an std it's a bacterial infection. If both partners are std free and monogamous then your not likely to ge an std.
You should know that men come a little all the time during sex not just at the final ejaculation. There is still some risk of getting stds if your partner doesn't know that they have one.
