That's like asking "Why is illness out there if we're supposed to enjoy life?"
STDs are just that.... diseases. Mono, colds, and numerous other illnesses are spread by kissing. Many diseases are spread by eating foods you love.

A little soap and water wouldn't be enough for all diseases/illnesses, although many are avoided with it. Unfortunately, germs have grown, developed, and mutated over time.... what may have been a simple cold a thousand years ago may have developed into one of the many STDs that are out there today. Nobody knows for sure how they came to be (although I've heard a LOT of weird theories).

Heck, monogamous couples have given each other pretty bad stuff that they've gotten through regular (non-sexual) contact with other people. Two virgins could give each other herpes if one of them has a cold sore and they have oral sex at the wrong time (and/or aren't careful). It happens more often than we'd like to admit.

Simply put, diseases and illnesses are just germs and micro-organisms that have gone through the ages. Some may have been created accidentally or on purpose in a lab somewhere (biological warfare, for example), but regardless, they are out there, so you need to be careful when there may be a risk of interacting with one.

STD's started they "believe" by men having sex with monkeys in Africa. That is not a natural thing, and I'm little African monkeys had millions of diseases inside of them. Then men like this have sex with other people, etc. etc.

I know this sounds homophobic, and i am not sure if they have proved this theory wrong...but it also makes sense that homosexuals/bi-sexuals created STD's as well. Female bodies are designed for the penis, and the fluid. Male a-holes are not. Who knows what risks there are.

You can catch colds by shaking hands.

QED

Also, many monogamous couples get chlamydia.

Your statement is the answer, "If that is supposed to be a natural thing?"

There are cases where people do things that are not natural and "unnatural" germs get introduced into the human system. Herpes has been around in humans for hundreds of years. The virus mainly affected the mouth and displayed itself as a "cold sore". How it got to the sexual organs you have to figure out. Syphilis was natural and occurred in a sheep's vagina, again you need to figure that one out.

u contract a std from a person that been infected. The first infections named sexually transmitted disease was said to be contracted from humans having sex with animals. But how the animal got it there have been no discoveries showing fact. Some say it was a mutant gene formed when 2 different species have intercourse.Gross if u think about it, but it happens everyday still.
hope this helps
