Will a sexual infection test be effected if you have used a canestan cream using an applicator?The sexual test involves swaps using cotton bud, will it be effected if you used the canestan cream and still have cream inside

Although I'm not completely sure I would imagine that it could affect the test since the sample may also contain the medication and not just vaginal secretion. I would definitely ask the doctor about this before you have any tests done.

That shouldn't affect it but if you can, you may want to wait until you're done with the treatment before you get tested.
