Contracting Sexually Transmitted Diseases?

Contracting Sexually Transmitted Diseases?Is there any way of contracting STD's other then having sex with someone infected. I've had the same boyfriend of 7 years and neither of us has strayed. Is it possible to contract it by for example touching a contaminated surface and then touching your mouth? Sorry for my ignorance. I don't think I payed attention back in high school.

It IS very possible to get an STD by touching an infected person or a contaminated surface. You can also get Stds through oral. Just be very careful if you have a cut or a wound on your hands (or any part of your body that touches things), keep your hands away from your mouth with out washing them with soap first.

No, it isn't-- they're called Sexually Transmitted Diseases because they are transmitted sexually, not casually.

well no but yes to any sexual activity with someone possible of having it.also any cut or wounds be safe. and don't do drug another way you could possibility get it
