Does a circumsition help in reducing the chance AIDS and STD transmission?

Does a circumsition help in reducing the chance AIDS and STD transmission?Personally I believe this to be a myth, but this is what our government (South Africa) is telling us. The AIDS virus is in the fluid discharge, so how the hell can a circumsition reduce the risk of infection?

no way do not believe this protect youself use a condom always how would it protect u u contract these diseases from exchange of bodily fluids the only thing to protect u from that is a condom and careful selection of partners or celibacy!

NO!!!

No, it makes no difference. HIV/AIDS is a blood disease. It has nothing to do with skin/foreskin, even if it is on the genitals.

nope.

yes it does. the foreskin acts as a hood to protect the penis, as you know the foreskin pulls back and exposes the top of your penis when erect and then folds over again when the penis has gone soft. when the foreskin covers the penis it keeps the infection underneath allowing it to get inside and infect you, without the foreskin the virus is exposed to the air and thus dies, though it is not 100% fool proof it just minimizes your chances so still wear a condom
