How do you get tested for any sexually transmitted diseases?Do I simply go to the doc and give blood?

Blood tests can and are carried out for some things, but for a lot of things they take swabs from your head, and I don't mean the one where the teeth are.

Yes, you need to go to your doctor and they can take a swab for a smear from your genital area, the Aptima urine test for Gonorrhea/Chlamydia or a blood test which ever is applicable. A blood test is required for an HIV test as well as for Syphilis.
