I know this sounds weird, but can you get STD's from toilet water?

I know this sounds weird, but can you get STD's from toilet water?sorry if this is a little weird, but if you sat down on the toilet and your penis often touches the water, then could you get STD's/STI's from it? My own toilet probably wouldn't be that bad since im the only one who uses it but what if it's a public toilet? I'd rather not go to the doctor unless its actually possible

I think it could be possible. Why don't you just make sure your penis doesn't touch the water? I've never had that problem, because I'm a girl. But I'm sure it's not that hard to stop it from touching the water.

You get STIS from sex,bodily fluids,blood etc.

no, unless someone with a deadly std washed their penis in the water then didn't flush. Other than that public bathrooms get cleaned 2-3 times a day.
