A venereal disease IS an STD. Just a different word for it. There are different treatments for each of the diseases.

VD is just a generic term for Venereal Disease that cover a whole bunch of STD's. De Leak sounds like a slang term similar to "the drip" or "the clap", both of which are gonorrhea, but there is no STD that I know of called De Leak. Some STD's are viral and some are bacterial and you would have to know which one it was to find out for sure.
