All you need to know is that the male condom is overall more effective.

But if this is your homework, then read the textbook!

the male condom is more convenient
both of them have the same amount of effectiveness..its all down to if you use it properly....
the side effects are the same too...one of you might be allergic to the rubber
idk about the costs but i think male are cheaper

MSS
• Effectiveness rate to prevent pregnancy? Male condom is better...but female one also do the job... there is no big gap between the pregnancy prevention rate. BOTH about 98% effective.
• Effectiveness rate to prevent sexually transmitted disease? Male condom... female one is no good in that area because the semen actually make a contact with the inside skin of the vagina.
• Costs? Both about the same depend on which brand you pick
• Convenience? Male condom is much easier to use than the female one.
• Side Effects? No known major side effects
• Reversibility? Non... I think we can't use either one of them that way... I am not sure about this.
• Partner Acceptance? Female condom... I think, but this is depend on person to person.

At the end... male condom is much better than the female one.

effictiveness should be the same, 99 percent effective if used correctly and about 93 percent if not.
female condoms are probably going to be more expensive.
both are convenient, and alot of people like female condoms because they are made of polyeurthain, and not latex.
neither are reversible, nor should they be used more then once.
male condoms are by far more popular.
