People want guns regulated because "they are dangerous". Should sex also be regulated?

People want guns regulated because "they are dangerous". Should sex also be regulated?(All the numbers/percentages are for the United States)

According to the brady campaign (which supports gun bans/regulation), 12,632 people were murdered in one year, and over 100,000 people were shot or killed.

According to this, 65 million people are living with an STD, and there are 15 million new STD cases each year.

According to wikipedia, sexually transmitted infections cause about 20,000 deaths per year, 0.8% of the total. Firearms cause 29,000 deaths, 1.2% of the total. (It should be noted that suicides account for over half of the firearm deaths)

Since sex leads to STDs, which cause nearly as many deaths as guns and discomfort to roughly 1/5 of the US population, should sex be regulated?
Or should there be fewer gun regulations?

There are all kinds of laws that have tried to regulate sex. Doesn't work, thank god.

"For instance, oral sex is illegal in 18 states. Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Virginia and Washington D.C. consider people who give or receive oral sex to be criminals. In Georgia, those convicted of oral sex can be charged with no less than one year and no more than 20 years imprisonment. Yikes.

Oral stimulation is not the only form of sex that is highly regulated, however. The State of Virginia dictates that it is illegal to have sex with the lights on. In Florida, Massachussetts, Montana and Virginia, it is illegal to have sex in any position other than missionary. In Oklahoma, pre-marital sex is against the law. Nevada considers sex without the use of a condom to be illegal. In Texas, the use or ownership of more than six dildos may qualify you for a felony. In Georgia, sex toys are banned altogether. "

You'll never guess.
I think it's every responsible adults duty to cary a gun. For the protection of themselves, and the people around them. It's unrealistic to expect the police to be everywhere immediately when we need them to save our lives.

I think sex should be largely unregulated, but I would support rules that restrict people with dangerous or permanent STDs from having sex with uninfected people.

What?
Apples and oranges.
Guns and sex are both good.
I think that people should be trained how to utilize fire arms.
People use sex- unless they're having sex to have children.

I don't know about regulating sex. but STD's need to be controlled, and pregnancy should only be allowed for couples that have adequate resources to care for a child long term. That's both physically AND emotionally.

Past experience, show gun regulation has little to do with crime, or accidental deaths.

Pregnancy does need to be regulated strictly.

There should be fewer regulation on guns. There are no facts, only lies, on the bradycampaign website.
