You can go to a clinic like planned parent hood or you can see your regular doctor or gyno to be tested. Phone up your doctor and see if they can do some std testing for you.
There is a very low risk of getting an std from kissing.
There are risks of passing stds through Oral sex and sexual intercourse.
Condoms do help prevent pregnancy and stds that are passed through body fluids. How ever you still have a small risk of getting genital warts or herpes even if you use condoms. Get to know your partner before you have sex and don't be afraid to ask about their sexual health.

The best place to go to get tested would be your doctor, they will give you tests if you want even if you dont have symptoms just to make you feel better. The main way to spread an std is through direct sexual contact, and yes condoms are very helpful but nothing is 100% except abstaining completely from sex. And you can get a few stds from oral but its not as likely to happen. If you ever get symptoms its always better to see a dr about it as soon as possible, everything is more easy to treat the earlier its caught.

You can check the website hivtest.org to find free STD testing sites in your area. Just enter your ZIP code. Testing is confidential.

STDs are transmitted through unprotected sex. Yes, they can be transmitted through unprotected oral sex as well.
Oral herpes can be transmitted through kissing. Herpes is transmitted through skin to skin contact. (genital to genital, genital to oral, oral to genital, and as I said, oral herpes can be transmitted through kissing.)

Condoms can help prevent transmission of STDs, but it is still possible for someone to transmit herpes even while using condoms.

You can not get an STD from someone who does not have an STD, but since most STDs have no symptoms for awhile, you can't tell if someone has an STD just by looking at them. The only way to find out if you have an STD is to get tested.
