Clamydia is the most common std and many people have it without realizing they do. Probably herpes, then venerial warts, gonorrhea, HIV, and then syphillis I would say.

HPV and herpes are probably the most common viral STDs.
At least 50 percent of sexually active men and women acquire genital HPV infection at some point in their lives. By age 50, at least 80 percent of women will have acquired genital HPV infection. About 6.2 million Americans get a new genital HPV infection each year.
About 1 in 4 women have genital herpes and about 1 in 5 men have it.

I believe that 1 in 3 people have HPV, followed by 1 in 4 having Herpes. Those are the only stats that I know, but neither of these can be cured, unlike others like chlamydia, so the #s will never go down, only increase.
