Ask her if she ever wants to have kids???? Many of the STDs have side effects of scarring the fallopean tubes or if she lets the infection go it can give her PID (pelvic inflammatory disease) and that can require hospitalization and IV meds to clear up. Studies show women who have many or chronic STDs have harder times getting pregnant later on. HPV is really not symptomatic and can eventually give you cervical cancer. If those don't get her treated.....she has 'ISSUES".

the symptoms very depending on the std ...some cause discharge, itching, bumps, head aches, fevers, swelling. It's easy to confuse this sti symptom with something else ... so convince her to see a doctor
