What exactly does a candida infection feel like for men? symptoms, time frame etc..?

What exactly does a candida infection feel like for men? symptoms, time frame etc..?My doctor seems to think I have a candida infection, I took many different types of antibiotics and I was thinking I has some sort of bacterial or STD.

Anyway I have had pain in the urethral opening of the penis for several months
Extreme itching in the testicles and anus
Color issues with the head of the penis - reactions to hot water, red patches etc
Abdominal pain

I have taken 22 days of Nystatin 6 pills a day, plus 6-4 doctor preferred probiotics and zero sugar for almost a month, it feels better but it feels really far from gone.

I have tested negative for Herpes, ghoneria (SP) , chlamydia, syphilis, HIV, HEP ABC, no bacteria in the prostate, blood work normal. I even tried a HPV urine analysis hit from MDlabs that screens for HPV.

Is this what candida feels like to a man?
How long can it last?
Is it hard to get rid of?

There are a ton of Dr. Yahoos on here, most are still in grade school,
but I would call the national STD Hot Line and give them your symptoms
and see what they say. It's a cheap second opinion (free) and private.
