What ways can clamidia be transferred?

What ways can clamidia be transferred?I posted a question asking about how much it would cost for antibiotics for clamidia, and everyone acted like she was sleeping around or that it was her fault that she got it.

Is it true that she could ONLY have gotten clamidia through sex? I read lots of things online saying that it was caused by bacteria. I understand that you can transfer it through sex, but does that mean its impossible she got it on her own?

Chlamydia is only contracted sexually, either oral or intercourse. It cannot go untreated without endangering a persons life so it must be treated. It is treatable, but it can be contracted again if he/she has sex with the person they got it from again. Please encourage this person to see a physician as soon as possible and let them know that they will spread it to others if they have unprotected sex.
