Can Chlamydia Pneumoniae cause PID? (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease)?

Can Chlamydia Pneumoniae cause PID? (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease)?I know that chlamydia trachomatis and chlamydia psittaci can definitely cause PID, but I was diagnosed with Chlamydia Pneumoniae, which I was told is NOT sexually transmitted. However, I was wondering if this form of chlamydia can cause PID? I do have slight abdomonal discomfort sometimes but I attributed it to taking birth control (orthro tri cyclen lo) Any idea? THANKS!

NO.it does not cause PID
it is associated with Pneumonia,GB Syndrome,Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
