It is very rare, but is possible. I have a friend that it happened to.

Any contact of the herpes simplex on the mouth for ex. to any other open wounded place on your body will spread it. Touch it or scratch it, then you better wash really well.

YES. If someone has a cold sore, or one is coming on and they give another person oral sex, then they can give that person genital herpes.
