can you have chlamydia from having sex with someone without it?My boyfriend and I were both virgins and have been having sex for about a year. He found a bump and the Dr. said it could be chlamydia. The Doctor also said that it can be transmitted by just having sexual contact and developing because of bacteria, not the actual disease. is this true?

I think your boyfriend has somehow garbled the information from his doctor. You can't catch chlamydia or any other disease from someone who doesn't have it.
