Carrageenan is the first all natural personal lubricant formulated from the beginning with a woman's health as the #1 priority. Many topical products are made with parabens, silicone, glycerin, petroleum-based glycols, and other harsh chemicals. The Oceanus Naturals product line is well-anchored in health, wellness & sustainability. Products include an all-natural personal lubricant and female stimulant, male and female libido enhancers, natural progesterone cream, and even a male performance booster. The primary ingredient in the natural personal lubricant is carrageenan, an extract from a rich marine algae - also includes vitamin E, organic aloe and agave inulin - proved to help prevent cervical cancer and STDs. Can you get cervical cancer any other way than the sexually transmitted disease, HPV?

Absolutely. You must make sure you get annual pap smears to ensure no abnormal cell growth is occurring.

Yes, but it is very rare. Over 99% of cervical cancer is caused by HPV.

The most common type of cervical cancer NOT caused by HPV is called clear cell adenocarcinoma. The only women who get clear cell adenocarcinoma has mothers who took a supplement called DES while pregnant. DES was banned in 1973, so if you were born after that, you will not get it.

There are a coupld of other types of cervical cancer that are extremely rare. Seriously maybe 2 women are diasnosed with them each year. They are EXTREMELY rare.

So essentially what Lilly is saying is.....
No.

Even in the astronomically few cases (outside of DES in the past) where there don't seem to be HPV in the cancerous tissue, it doesn't mean there isn't HPV in them as a cause.
