chlamydial infections and azithromycin?i recently had been tested positive for chlamydia, and just today i was given a 1g dose of azithromycin to cure it, after i got home i looked up the drug, and came across alot of people who had taken the drug and on a second visit after being sexually abstinent had been diagnosed with chlamydia again, i'm just curious if this treatment is effective?
Daniel yes, it is extremely effective against chlamydia, but like every antibiotic,m it is not 100% effective. and if it doesn't work for you than you should possibly take another antibiotic tat you doctor suggests.
