I'm having a bit of difficulty understanding what you're saying. It sounds like you're asking why your pap test was clear but now a blood test is not clear. Am I understanding you accurately?
I can imagine that you're a bit stressed right now based on what you seem to be describing. I'm sorry if you have caught something after being loyal to someone who wasn't loyal. I hope you take good care of yourself and direct your questions to your doctor or your doctor's office, giving them the opportunity to help you understand a bit more about how the body works and such tests work in identifying problems and most importantly what ALL your options are now for supporting your body in healing.
If you are struggling to communicate or get the information you need, I would recommend speaking with a different doctor or clinic in order to get a second opinion and hopefully some better support. I believe your health and wellness is important and worth every effort to understand, heal, and protect.
Whatever you decide to do, I hope you are feeling better soon.

Yes your doctor should inform you if they found an std or abnormal cells (HPV / genital warts) on your pap smear. You could have been fine last year but this year contracted chlamydia. If your boy friend is the only person your getting intimate with then the chlamydia most likely came from him. He could have picked it up from a past partner or from some one he cheated with. If they run an std test on you then they can check for stds but pap smears are usually used to detect genital warts or cervical cancer.
Orignal From: Do they tell you if you got a sexually transmitted disease when you get a pap smear?!!!!?
