Anything viral is not likely to be cured.
Try Smallpox, polio, & bubonic plague for starters! There are vaccines for smallpox & polio, but not cures. Ditto for rabies.

Some cancers, Rabies, Lyme disease sticks with you, Malaria, AIDS (isn't necessarily sexually transmitted, can be transmitted from a dirty needle).
Fridays
Chickenpox - common childhood disorder caused by a non-sexually transmitter herpes virus.
Herpes such as a cold sore - caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox. Once you've had chickenpox, the virus continues to live in the facial nerves forever, and may occasionally cause an outbreak of shingles or coldsores.
Malaria - a blood infection caused by the bite of an infected mosquito. The infection lives in blood cells and remains there, sometimes becoming active and causing a relapse.
BTW bubonic plague can be cure with antibiotics, and cancers aren't contagious. Neither is Lyme disease.
