Is it normal for women to get yeast infections now and again? Is it an STI?Of late i've been getting yeast infections every 2 months and the medication I take each time makes me so nauseas, I dread it!

Yeast infec are incredibly common and are not STD's. But none of mine have ever made me nauseas. You should be seen for it.

It is normal. It could be something in your diet such as mushrooms or another type of fungi. Also, if you are not wearing breathable cotton underware or are wearing nylons that could be it. Also, if you had sex with your partner and you took the meds but he did not, then he could just be passing the same yeast infection you already had. (Yeast like moist warm environments. That is why is it important to wear breathable clothing). If the meds ar enot working go to the health food store and get some lactobacilius tablets or plain yogart. That will get rid of the yeast
