Is it possible for gonorrhea to be transmitted through shared cigarettes?

Is it possible for gonorrhea to be transmitted through shared cigarettes?Someone has informed me that they may possibly have an inactive form of gonorrhea and I have shared cigarettes on numerous occasions with this person. Does gonorrhea go through saliva? I also do not know if this person is infected through the throat or genitals.
