NOOOO!!!!! It is herpes and it doesn't matter if it's oral or genital originated herpes, it's herpes and it's contagious. Do not have sex with someone who is currently having a breakout and even if they are not currently having a breakout wear a condom!!! I contracted herpes from a man that had not visible symptoms and never had. Please be careful, it's not worth the momentary pleasure for a lifetime of shame.

Uh, yeah, if if it's causing blisters on her genitals, it *is* the sexually transmitted kind of herpes, and it's not safe to have sex with her while she's having an outbreak.

NO. Fever blisters IS a form of herpes called oral herpes, it can affect both the mouth and genitals. It's very contagious during a break out, you have a very high chance of contracting it, if you have intercourse if you have sex with this person while they have a break out.
If you really want to have sex with this girl (but don't want to get herpes) them tell them to wait until the break out is gone and use condoms while they don't h ave a break out. Also make sure she is taking antiviral medication regularly, that can also help reduce her risk of passing it on even in between break outs.
