No longer infected with Hepatitis C?

No longer infected with Hepatitis C?Hello to all you fantastic people of Yahoo answers!

I've got a quick question: About 6 months ago I was cleared of the Hepatitis C virus with a combination of drugs after having the disease for 20 years (I contracted it when I was 4, and I am 24 now). During that time I always thought it was a sexually transmitted disease and therefore did not enter any such relationship (Yes, that was very depressing and tragic, but that's another question entirely!), but now that I'm over it, I can.

My question is this: Since there is no possible way of anyone contracting the disease from me (since I don't have it anymore), do you still think I am morally obliged to "declare" the fact that I once had it, to future romantic partners? I know they're going to find out in the long-run, but would it scare people away from me?

I'm just not sure.

Alright! Thanks a lot.

p.s. I guess this does belong in another category, but what are the chances that a girl would not mind about my lack of sexual exerience? I wouldn't usually ask that question, but this is an anonymous forum!

If you don't carry the virus anymore, it means that you are no longer contagious, and that therefore you don't have to tell anyone. I wouldn't be sacred to find out that my boyfriend once had a disease that can be contracted by doing something as innocent as drinking water.

Now would I mind the lack of experience? Unfortunately, yes. In my opinion, this would be like doing it with a 15 year-old virgin. But don't worry, there are women that won't mind and there are even some that will be even more turned on by this.

P.S. You were right. Hep C can be transmitted sexually, as well as by an exchange of blood or by ingesting infected water (think an ice cube in your drink when you go on vacation).
