Cholera and measles can be treated with antibiotics. Syphilis can be spread through unprotected intercourse. And athlete's foot can be caught if one doesn't wear flip-flops on their feet when they are using public showers (it happened to my mom once).

Antibiotics are effective against diseases that are spread by bacteria, protists and fungi (though we call those antifungals). You CANNOT use an antibiotic to cure a virus.
Cholera is caused by a bacteria. Measles is caused by a virus. Given what I just said above, do YOU think these things can be treated with antibiotics? If so, which ones?
Syphilis is a sexually transmitted infection (please tell your health teacher to get with the times and ditch the term VD). It is caused by a bacteria. It is spread by skin to skin contact. No fluids are necessary to spread it.
Athlete's foot is a foot fungus. Fungi like damp, warm places. Bath houses are damp, and baths are usually warm. So fungi grow pretty well in these environments. Then the fungi get on your feet. Then you stuff your feet into warm, sweaty shoes. Fungi thrive on that stuff. that's how you get athlete's foot.
