STD Information?

STD Information?I want to get tested, but I first has a few questions so I have a better understanding of what to ask at the Doctors.

My First question is, does anyone know the rate that people dont show symtpons? If its 1 in 2, I see reason for concern. If its like 1 in 1000... Ill feel a little better about it. ;)

Second, What tests should I get. Im told a blood test will find the most common STDs. I also hear there is a cell test which requires the collection of cells from inside the penis and that just doesnt sound all to friendly. If that cell test is just for say... a rare tropical diesase... Ill know to pass on that one tho.

Third, what is the cost for such tests. Im guessing three to four hundred, but Id just like to know what to expect when I head in.

Ive been with 5 women, and never showed any signs of having anything, but feel it would probably be best to get tested. Thanks in advance.

first things first...
you have had sexual contact with 5 women. Let's say those five women had sex with 5 men each, and those five men had 5 women each.
You have indirectly been exposed to (had "contact" with) all of them essentially.
play it safe, asjk the Dr. for HIV screening first. If you have experienced absolutely no symptoms of any kind regarding other STDs... you should still test for them. Most cities have a local AIDS foundation were you can get an anomymous for free or a marginal donation might be required. Then ask them while you are there about the other conditions and tests. You will find that these poeplwe are VERY knowledgeable.
