webmd.com and mayoclinic.com are good sites to visit. u can look up some stds and their sympoms. the symptoms really depend on what std u want to know about, since there are different symptoms for most of them..

Try the center for disease control http://www.cdc.gov, or http://www.teensource.org, http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/std-symptoms/ID00053, http://yourstdhelp.com/ Keep in mind that the majority of people who get STDs have no symptoms, so once you become sexually active, get tested regularly.

Unfortunately, for many people, STDs have no symptoms. So if you are at risk for STDs, just because you have no symptoms, it doesn't mean that you don't have an STD.
Some common symptoms include burning while urinating, odd growths or sores on your genitals, or unusual (smelly, clumpy, off-color) discharge.
The most important things to remember with regards to STDs are:
a) Talk with your partner before you have sex about previous sexual history (lots of hookers? partners with STDs? Past testing for STDs?).
b) Use a condom.
c) Be aware of any odd symptoms (mysterious sores? Odd smelling discharge?)
My fave STD site, by the way, is the link below. It will give you reliable information about a variety of different STDs.
Great question!
