Walking around with open sores on your feet and treading on dog sh*t will usually cause a bacterial infection - as long as you don't shower too soon after.

If you DO happen to shower, I suggest you don't dry yourself properly, just stick your undies on while wet, it ends up giving a beautiful "crutch rot" and the smell is "to die for"

It could be PIV you descibed a bit of the symptoms, Pelvic Inflamitory Disease, its caused by bacteria too so you might want to check it out
