I am unsure of how common it really is, but humans are able to get diseases from cats. One that is known well is called cat-scratch fever which is caused by a bacteria named Bartonella henselae. These bacteria live in the intestines of cats and can be transmitted to humans via a bite or scratch. It is found in about 40% of the cat population so I would consider it pretty common. Basically it targets lymph tissue in the human and results in swelling around the bit or swollen glands, fatigue, fever, and body aches. It's fairly easy to treat with antibiotics such as doxycycline or erythromycin. I hope this helps!

During Dr. Price's time, and even today, people believe degenerative diseases are caused by accidental exposure to specific germs and as a result the heart, kidneys, joint, etc. are attacked - much like contracting the measles, memps, chicken pox, etc.. Because, in some cases, bacteria are involved, the above view still predominates. The issue is further confused by the fact that tissue deterioration also takes place because of nutritional deficiencies and excesses.. At the same time, hardly anyone realizes the extent to which focal infections from teeth, tonsils, and tonsil tags are major contributors to the presence of degenerative diseases. That fact motivated the writing of this book.. It is most difficult on one hand to realizes how fabulous ...
