You can not prevent stds. That is not genetically related- they are diseases which have to be chosen to be avoided by the people engaging in the acts if they have the knowledge of the other person having the disease. STD's are viruses and diseases that are not genetically alterable because it is contracted after our cells develop.

Your answer is D. The other selections are clearly related to genetics or are a result of advances in genetics. Prevention of STD's is a behavior and conscious issue not one directed by the understanding or application of genetic principles.
