How do I know if my boyfriend has any sexually transmitted diseases?

How do I know if my boyfriend has any sexually transmitted diseases?I'm 13 years old and always feel like having sex but I'm afraid of like STD's and AIDS and HIV... I know to use protection and I'm on birth control. But how do I know if my boyfriend has any of those things? I'm not just gonna go up to him and be like do you have any sexually transmitted diseases?? WIll condoms protect against them?? Is there anything I can take or my boyfriend can take from me getting these diseases?? UGHHH this is so frustrating!! :(

CHRIST.
You should first talk to your boyfriend about his past relationships, and find out if he's slept with anyone with any STI's

Condoms WILL protect against STI's, AIDS, HIV etc. Just ensure the condom does not break (using two condoms at the same time makes it easier to break so don't try that)

After sex, you might get a rash or thrush, this is normal. You can go to the doctors and get checked up if you're scared.

Also, if you have any mouth olsers or cold sores, do not perform oral sex, same goes for him. And if you or he has warts, do not use those fingers for any activity.

okayplease
tell him to get tested

As ur only 13 i suggest that u wait but ur gonna do what u want so use condoms studies show that they help prevent passing it on with proper use. Scared...? should be.... sooo.....

You can get an STI by having intimate sexual contact with someone who already has the infection. You can't tell if a person is infected because many STIs have no symptoms. But STIs can still be passed from person to person even if there are no symptoms. STIs are spread during vaginal, anal, or oral sex or during genital touching. So it's possible to get some STIs without having intercourse. Not all STIs are spread the same way.

How do you get tested for STIs?
There is no one test for all STIs. Ask your doctor about getting tested for STIs. She or he can tell you what test(s) you might need and how it is done. Testing for STIs is also called STI screening. Testing (or screening) for STIs can involve:

* Pelvic and physical exam — Your doctor can look for signs of infection, such as warts, rashes, discharge.
* Blood sample
* Urine sample
* Fluid or tissue sample — A swab is used to collect a sample that can be looked at under a microscope or sent to a lab for testing.

might wanna do ur research on this here are 2 sites i found about it.

You are too young to be having sex PERIOD!
You are also too young and irresponsible to be having sex SINCE you do not know the answers to these simple and basic questions!

You need to learn all about STD's and how they are transmitted. How to use condoms and birth control. Do all this BEFORE you flop down and spread your legs for some boy that will obviously play on your ignorance, give you a disease or get you pregnant or BOTH!
