No, its not. Your periods will start when your body is ready, and thrush is just a infection type thing that you can get befor and after you have started. I had thrush for the first time about 2 years befor my period, not fun !

Thrush isn't usually a sign of starting your periods - thrush is caused by unbalanced pH levels in the vagina. It is hard to know when you'll start your first period, everyone is different! But it is usually around 2 years after your breasts start growing, and if you have started getting discharge, it could be soon.

I don't know if there's a connection. Eat plain yogurt, hold the bite in your mouth for a few seconds and let all those lactobacilli go to war against the yeast that overpopulated itself. Unless you mean the thrush is down yonder, then put some plain yogurt on a pad and place it in your underwear for a little while every day. Let it warm to room temperature first because man is it cold! But I promise you it will do the trick everytime. Plain, no flavoring or anything at all.
