Normally, people get tested for all sexually tranmitted diseases, when they get symptoms of one such disease. Because quite often people get multiple sexually transmitted infections at the same time, including Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Herpes, HIV, and others.
If you still have symptoms after a couple of days, then you should see a doctor and perhaps get a prescription for another antibiotic such as Azithromycin, which is effective against Chlamydia.
