How soon after having unprotected sex can I get tested for STIs (STDs)?

How soon after having unprotected sex can I get tested for STIs (STDs)?I know, I should've been more careful but I screwed up and had unprotected sex with one of my guy friends on Tuesday.

I know it takes 6 months before you can accurately test for HIV, but how long is it before I can test for other STDs (ie: Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, etc.)

The window period is between 3 mths and than again 6 mths and recheck..and be smart and use a condom or a dildo is safer.
