should we get rid of dating like in the Middle East?

should we get rid of dating like in the Middle East?As in, here in what they call the "West"(US, Britain, Canada, etc), we have to ask girls out to date. And in doing that, people have sex and stuff, and transmit all these sexual diseases.

Well in the East, they don't have that. I dont' know about Israel, but in Iraq and Saudi Arabia, you have to ask her parents to marry her. They don't even have dating. And in those countries, rape is low, sexaul diseases are low, and marriages last longer.

So should we get rid of dating here in the West and just go straight to marriage like in the East and only by permission of her parents?

i always give smiles=]
dating is fun
its complicated but here in the west its just our way of life
i wouldnt give it up

No.

"Rape is low, sexaul diseases are low, and marriages last longer."

You wish. Seeing as women get stoned for being raped, how on earth would they have accurate statistics to report? Oh, and a lot of those religions condone rape within marriage. The women can't actually leave and support themselves which is why the marriages last longer.

Iraq and Saudi Arabia are two of the most conservative countries in the world. Their laws are aligned according to strict Islamic laws and they can impose death or lashings with whips to anyone who falls out of line, especially when it comes to marital covenants. Even drinking alcohol is illegal. Women still have very few human rights.

Any country that is more liberal than countries like those that is better.

Its a nice thought but we have a very important thing called FREEDOM. The freedom to say and do whatever we like. We have choices here we pick who we want to marry not our parents. So no I'm glad were free to make our own decisions.
