What kind of sexual transmitted diseases can you get even with a condom on?I am trying to tell my friend that even if you use a condom, you can still get herpes and stuff like that so do you know all the diseases you can still get even with a condom?

Yes it's true, you can get herpes and genital warts even if a condom is uses. Condoms only cover the shaft. Stds like herpes and genital warts can affect all areas of the genitals not just where the condom covers. If there is some thing going on out side of where the condom covers and your partner has herpes or genital warts you still have a chance of getting it. Tell her that.

Because condoms are not 100% effective all of the time, that means that you are still capable of getting ALL STD'S AND EVEN HIV, though the chances are small.
