I think it depends on how explicit you mean. A surprising number of games have scantily-clad females in them. So in those cases, the game ads may take every opportunity to feature the female protagonist, eg Everquest, or perhaps the Tomb Raider series. The most outrageous one that comes to mind and isn't something from the game is Turbo Prop Racing from 1999. The print ad was two topless girls trying to cover themselves after a car went by so fast that it blew off their swimsuit tops. Good lord, it's been ten years since I bought that magazine . . .
