Why is our sexual culture left out of history books in schools?

Why is our sexual culture left out of history books in schools?During the civil war 40% of the soldiers had syphilis or some other kind of venereal disease. Isn't this significant and something that should be discussed?

because lots of parents don't believe their children should learn that stuff in school

It is not something that young kids have to know, about Jr. High or high school (I'm not sure if then newer 'middle' school and Jr. high are the same), it could be mentioned.

I mean if you learn about the Spanish American War you learn that a lot of soldiers died of malaria and yellow fever and a lot of soldiers and civilians died of the flu in World War I; but the fact is, soldiers and the kinds of sexual behavior that can lead to VD (STDs) are well known to happen all through history.

I don't know that younger kids or even teenagers need or should get a lot of information from history about VD or the sexual practices of Union or Confederate soldiers. . Hopefully they are educated on more current problems. I doubt if knowing soldiers died of VD in 1863 would make them be careful.

I don't know that syphilis or any other VD played any real role in the war; as Yellow Fever and Malaria might have in the Spanish-American War or the Influenza pandemic may have in World War I.

There are MANY important things that are left out of our history books. This is because the Illuminati controls our school systems and they decide what gets to be put in and what doesn't.

And how much of a soldier's life is actually discussed in textbooks? The majority of textbooks I ever saw were far more geared towards events and politics than everyday life. That's where further reading comes into play. There are actually authors who are more interested in this subject of how life was lived rather than just battlefield events. Some of these authors had first had accounts, others were using first hand accounts among their various resources.
