Chlamydia & Gonorrhea in Women?

Chlamydia & Gonorrhea in Women?Pls enlighten me on Chlamydial and Gonorrheal infection in women.Would it stay in every women's system even after years of being infected from it? Could both be traced in either our urine or blood if we want to?

Sexually transmitted Chlamydia and gonorrhea are bacterial infections that localize in the vagina (I quickly looked up cases of gonococcal sepsis, and the publications showed it's a rare occurence; didn't search Chlamydia sepsis). You would not find these things in a blood screening. They are EASILY curable, but go undetected for several years because they often do not present symptoms.

Could you find these bacteria in urine years after a woman's initial infection? YES if and only if she has not cleared the infection either spontaneously or with medication.

However, like I said earlier, it's easily cured. Assuming you don't reinfect yourself through sexual contact, once you finish off the course of antibiotics, you will be cured. Once you are cured, you will not find the Chlamydia and gonococcus in your urine.

I don't think so, at least not in most cases. But that's why you should go for your physical including pap test every year. I do know that if you have Chlamydia long enough without knowing it, you may reduce or even eliminate your chances of ever having children.
