Encourage masturbation and use of Sex-Toys to promote sexual & mental health, & prevent STD including AIDS?A large number of mental disorders are related to sexuality and sexual deprivation. Masturbation has no ill effect as is wrongly propagated by some on mistaken grounds. Masturbation and use of sex-toys give great relief to persons not having normal [healthy] sex-partners. It gives the freedom to have the pleasure whenever there is a desire, without troubling any one [not even the puritan society]. It is 100% safe, as there is no contact with any infection and hence can play a big role in preventing Sexually Transmitted Diseases [STD][including the much frighted AIDS]. In view of these facts, I propose that all concerned should support my proposal in all relevant platforms, including World Health Organisation. This can reduce the huge expenditure in currently practised campaigns against AIDS & STD, with better compliance. Research on reduction of costs and development of better Sex-Toys, with undoing of misconceptions will help. Am I the first person to propagate this view?

AIDS is huge in Africa, not because woman are "satisfying" needs but because of rape and the idea that sex is their "duty"
also we can't/don't get people in Africa medication that only costs pennies but we are going to send sex toys?
men in macho cultures will not find this acceptable either

I think that this is an idea for the USA but I don't think that the WHO will be able to realistically use this

So yeah yeah sex toys are great and all, but if given the choice of real vagina to fake, i would think most men want a real one, so i don't think that sex toys will prevent STD's and stuff cause it's like a hobby until something better comes along, it is safe and shouldn't be criticized as it is now. Now I also had a boyfriend who masturbated ALL THE TIME, when he was bored, before bed, home alone, woke up in the morning or after a nap. Seriously, and he still had mental illnesses. So i don't know what this could all amount to.
