How did I get an STD if my only partner tested negative?????

How did I get an STD if my only partner tested negative?????I've been with my bf for almost 3 years in a monogamist relationship, and we both went into the relationship tested and clean. I've had Chlamydia and Gonnorrhea in our relationship, and both times he was tested and he didnt have either one, and we went too our military clinic and a free clinic to double check. Now i know i didnt cheat on him in anyway, and I've been having to defend myself for awhile now. Is there ANY possible way of getting it from something else?? I mean, I know one person had to get it first, so how did they get it? Thats why i dont understand how it can ONLY be sexually transmitted and not started from your own bacteria in your body. Somebody with experience or education please give me an answer!
look BUDDY.... u seem to not be understanding the question..... i went with him both times and i heard the results my damn self..... now i see u cant answer the question who first got it??? cuz u DONT know... now if i gotta be living proof of it then dammit i will be... and when u think of a better answer other than I "banged" someone else..then you may get back to me.

he tested positive and told you he was negative....................he's cheating on you. no other way this could have happened unless, you are banging someone else.

He could be a carrier , I strongly suggest condoms in any situation, you only get one life , is it worth it to risk AIDS? Any one is at risk, whether you/partner are "monogamist" or not, you are essentially having sex with EVERYONE that they have ever been with and vice versa.

i dont know but it seems that someone has cheated for example how do u knoe he has not cheated got himself tested and cured before you found out it is possible you know if you have defenetly not cheated the i suggest you sit down and talk with him but he may be a carrier so go to the doctor and put this question to him

i have to say I somewhat agree with Angel. This is the thing. He may have had some possible itching or burning after he made a mistake one time, so went and got checked out. They may have given him an antibiotic or something of the sort and it cleared him up right away.If he is in the military w/the experience I have had with men I have dated who are, they are gone from home for 3,4, 7 days at a time while working on base. He may have gone without you to get it taken care of. And if there was ever a time where he wasn't "feeling well" or "in the mood" this could be why. I think that he felt he did a good thing by being treated, which he did. But maybe he didn't realise it still meant he could have carried it to you before any symptoms show up. I mean for you to catch BOTH those STD's is a red flag. Maybe just ask him to be honest and tell him you wont be mad just to get it out of him. And its not like you could call where he got it done and ask if he was ever treated, its very illegal and never in a million years would they tell you. Sorry about your condition, hopefully things will be cleared up soon and you can put your mind at ease.
